10 Outstanding Red Wines from Switzerland

What do you know about the wines of Switzerland? Our very own Stephan Reinhardt recently sought out 50 memorable wines from this picturesque wine region for our Interim End of January Issue. Today, I've highlighted 10 outstanding red wines from his report. "50 Swiss Wines to Be Remembered" details mostly wines from the recent 2014 and 2015 vintages, but there are a few older vintages reviewed as well—many of which made this list! As Stephan has noted, Switzerland has a burgeoning wine scene and there is much to be excited about from both the longtime winemakers and the next generation of winemakers who are looking to help put their country's wines on the world wine map. So it's time to start exploring what Switzerland has to offer!
