Don’t Miss the MICHELIN Guide NYC 2018 Star Event

On October 30 at the opulent Ziegfeld Ballroom—“New York City’s most sophisticated and significant new venue”—the stars of the 13th edition of the MICHELIN Guide New York City and the inaugural Robert Parker Wine Advocate Extraordinary Winery Awards will be revealed. This is the first collaborative event in the U.S. between the global tire maker & renowned travel guide publisher and the world’s foremost wine ratings publication.

The night will kick off with cocktail hour and passed canapés by Ziegfeld Ballroom executive chef Matthew Tiscornia, followed by a five-course dinner prepared by three renowned chefs of Michelin-starred restaurants Le Bernardin, Daniel and La Toque.

Each chef’s courses are paired with a selection of fine Napa Valley wines specially selected by Robert Parker Wine Advocate’s team of experts.

The new RPWA Extraordinary Winery Awards, conducted by the review team led by Robert M. Parker Jr. and Lisa Perrotti-Brown, MW, highlights superlative wineries that sit qualitatively above all others within their regions.

In addition to the announcement of the winery award winners, a highlight of the evening will include the opportunity to celebrate the newly recognized Michelin-starred restaurants. Chefs from across the country will gather together at Ziegfeld Ballroom to celebrate their inclusion in the 2018 MICHELIN Guide.

All of this will culminate with a live auction; items for bid include unique travel and leisure experiences provided by Michelin and other participating sponsors. Proceeds will benefit the local non-profit Breaking Ground, the largest provider of supportive housing in New York City.
