Support the Napa Valley Vintners at the MICHELIN Guide Gala

Dear Reader,

The devastation and loss for Northern California’s wine country in recent weeks due to wildfires throughout Napa and Sonoma counties are beyond comparison within our wine world. On October 9th, the Governor of California declared a state of emergency, and according to the City of Napa, this chaos is liable to go on for some time. More than 200,000 acres have burned, 5,700 homes and structures have been destroyed and nearly 75,000 people evacuated. Our hearts are with those that have lost so much.

Robert Parker Wine Advocate, the world’s foremost authority in wine, would like to help by making a cash donation of $10,000 to Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund. We are also reaching out to our readers, in Napa Valley Community's time of need, to see if you can help by donating to this cause or by purchasing a seat at the MICHELIN Guide New York 2018 Star Event and Robert Parker Wine Advocate Extraordinary Winery Awards. $250 from every seat purchased* will go to Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund. This gala dinner, incorporating stunning Napa Valley wines paired with sumptuous MICHELIN star chefs’ cuisines, is the perfect backdrop for reminding food and wine lovers of the greatness of Napa Valley.

Grab a seat—we hope to see you there.

Cheers,
Lisa Perrotti-Brown, MW, Editor-in-Chief
