A spectacular setting, The China Club has become a major tourist destination, but I would not hesitate to send people there simply because the food is top-notch, especially the Dim Sum at lunch. Additionally, the collection of Chinese artwork is sensational. We drank a delicious, dry, full-throttle Paul Bara Non-Vintage Rosé Champagne, which was competent, but hardly inspiring, with an assortment of extraordinary Dim Sum dishes. Prices were fair given the popularity of this restaurant, at which it is getting increasingly difficult to secure a reservation. Anyone who visits Hong Kong should definitely check out The China Club, especially if you’ve never been there.
