The Painted Lady

Visitors to the Willamette Valley should try this relatively new restaurant located in the little town of Newberg, which is situated in the heart of Oregon Pinot Noir country. The food was very good, in fact, the quality of the food exceeded that of the wines with the exception of the California offering. The chef revealed creativity, intense flavors, finesse, and very good service in an old, former home.

The wine list is very good, but I was disappointed in the group of Oregon Pinots we had. Luckily the Marcassin Pinot Noir was outstanding.
