Now Live: Interim End of May 2018

Here ye, here ye: The Wine Advocate’s Interim End of May 2018 Issue is officially here, with over 1,000 wines tasted, spanning regions from Bordeaux and California to New Zealand and Italy’s Piedmont.

We’ve put on our vintage best for the latest issue: editor-in-chief Lisa Perrotti-Brown celebrates Chappellet’s golden anniversary with a complete retrospective—yes, complete—of the last 50 years. The Chappellet family generously opened their cellar for five couples who bid on charity auction lots for Auction Napa Valley, inviting Perrotti-Brown to document the incredible occasion.

Two more retrospectives are also included in the new issue. William Kelley gives us a look at Ridge Vineyard’s Monte Bello since its inaugural vintage in 1964, and Perrotti-Brown revisits Bordeaux’s famed 1998 vintage.

Over 400 tasting notes can be found in William Kelley’s Paso Robles report, a region he calls “one of California wine country’s most beautiful.”

Here’s everything you have to look forward to this issue:
